We have established some very specific procedures for dropping off and picking children up at school.  We appreciate your cooperation in helping us to enforce these procedures to ensure the safety of all of our students. 

PreK Drop Off Procedures

-Students can start arriving at 8:15 a.m.  Class begins at 8:35 a.m.

-Please place your child’s car seat on the passenger side of the car and his/her name ID sign on the front passenger dashboard or windshield area.

-Please stay in your car.  Teachers will greet you and help get your child out of the car, and direct them to the side entrance door.

-Please stay in the single-file drop off line and move ahead to the front as directed by the teachers on duty.  Do not pull out of line to pass other cars as this can create a hazard.

-Once in the building, your child will be directed to their classroom that is either in the blue or red hallway.  Each child will have a red or blue backpack tag that includes their name and their teacher’s name.  Teachers will assist and supervise students until class begins at 8:35 a.m.

PreK Pick Up Procedures

-Teachers will take students to the front of Rose Union at 3:25 p.m., and sit in assigned areas as they wait to be picked up.

-Please stay in your car.

-Please wait until the cars ahead of you are loaded and then pull ahead with the line.  Do not pull out of line to pass other cars as this can be dangerous.

-Please make sure that your "Car Tag"/ID sign is on the front passenger dashboard or windshield area.  If you do not have the car tag/ID tag, you will need to park and call the office. 

-Teachers will help your child into the car.  Please pull forward into the parking lot if your child needs assistance in buckling their seat belt.

Elementary Drop Off Procedures

-Students can start arriving at 8:40 a.m.  Class begins at 8:55 a.m.  If you arrive before 8:35 a.m., you will need to park in the parking lot, as the car rider line will still be used for PreK students.  Car riders may only be dropped off at the front of the school; the bus loop is designated for only buses.

-Please stay in your car.  Teachers will greet you and direct students to the front doors.

-Please stay in the single-file drop off line and move ahead to the front as directed by the teachers on duty.  Do not pull out of line to pass other cars as this can create a hazard.

-Once in the building, your child will be directed to their classroom.


Elementary Pick Up Procedures

-Elementary parents may begin entering the car rider pick up line at 3:45 p.m.  If you arrive before 3:45 p.m., you will need to park your car and wait as PreK parents are picking up their children until 3:45 p.m.

-Teachers will take students to the front of Rose Union at 3:45 p.m., and sit in assigned areas as they wait to be picked up.

-Please wait until the cars ahead of you are loaded and then pull ahead with the line.  Do not pull out of line to pass other cars as this can be dangerous.

-Please make sure that your "Car Tag"/ID sign is on the front passenger dashboard or windshield area.  If you do not have the car tag/ID tag, you will need to park and call the office before we will release your child.

-Teachers will help your child into the car.  Please pull forward into the parking lot if your child needs assistance in buckling their seat belt.
